Why Kaio Publications?

By this time some of you may have, at one time or another, asked "Why Kaio Publications"? Well, I can tell you that it's not because the Wells family was bored. As a full-time minister and a family who home schools, believe me, we have plenty of "stuff" going on in life. However, we feel very strongly about faith and families. Having worked with teenagers for a long time and investigating the culture in which we live, we had to open up KP. Our number one goal as a family is to get to heaven. Second to that is that we would take as many with us as possible. All these factors came into play when we, after serious prayer and discussion, decided to launch the ship.

So what is the purpose of the "ship"? Simply put, we want to serve as a place where families can not only get solid, biblical information, but can receive much needed encouragement in their families. There's plenty of "bad news" that does need a biblical response; however, many of us live in a state of feeling like we are failing or not doing enough. There may even be a sense of guilt that hovers above like a rain cloud that seems to follow us around. Can I be real with you for a minute?...None of us get it right all of the time. If we did, there would be no need for the grace of God. Dads, there are times we are total failures. Moms, sometimes you over react and have horrible parenting moments. Teens, there's so much going on inside of you that sometimes the chaos spills over into your interactions with parents and siblings. Younger children, selfish is ugly on anyone at any age, but that doesn't necessarily make you stop and consider. What's my point? The point is...we don't always get it right, and we could live in the dumps. That's why encouragement is so badly needed. The good news is that we can be forgiven by God and also by our friends and families. God continues to do great things through imperfect people who will submit to Him and His will.
